Barrington Stage is a vital economic and artistic force, contributing approximately $2.8 million to the local economy in direct expenditures including salaries, equipment, and rentals plus several million additional dollars spent by our 45,000+ patrons. They stay at local hotels, eat at local restaurants, and patronize area merchants and tourist attractions. In addition, during our summer season, 200 BSC staff and artists rent houses, lease cars, buy clothes and provisions and go to the movies, the gym and cultural events.

The numbers add up! Help BSC grow and you’ll be helping Pittsfield’s economy grow.

BSC is kicking off the Final Phase of its Capital Campaign To date, $4.6 million has been committed toward the goal of $7.5 million. We have $2.9 million to go!!!
