KidsAct!

Barrington Stage Company’s KidsAct! is an acclaimed musical theatre program designed to awaken the creativity of children ages 8 to 15. Students work with a variety of professionals which may include theatre instructors, a choreographer and a musical director. In addition to acquiring skills that will be useful to them as actors, participants build self-esteem and confidence as they work with a group of their peers to write and perform an original musical.

KidsAct! offers a theatre camp day program during the summers, and a Saturday program during the academic year (see below for details).

Three week course in acting. Includes improvisation, theatre games, character studies, monologue and scene work, movement, stage combat, and vocal training.

This exciting acting program is designed for ages 8-15 in two age appropriate groups. Provides comprehensive performance training in:
