A brilliant, fractured retelling of several well-known fairy tales (Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk and Little Red Riding Hood). The beloved fairy tale characters enter the woods, each looking for something. They are granted their wishes and then, in a clever turn of events, must face what it means to live "happily ever after." Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning score includes "No One Is Alone" and "Children Will Listen."
