Barrington Stage Company, an award-winning professional theatre in Pittsfield, MA, seeks experienced Director of Education. Responsibilities: overseeing the Playwright Mentoring Project, BSC’s youth-at-risk program; summer drama program; internship program; summer Youth Musical Theatre production.
Successful candidate must be a dynamic individual with teaching experience with teenagers, knows basic theatre techniques, theatre games and improvs, and has a thorough understanding of teen issues. Also must be a good manager, have great people skills and be able to multi-task. Position begins immediately.
